1. General Disclaimer

Kaizen Labs is an R&D-focused platform. All products, kits, prototypes, and components sold on this website are intended for research, educational, hobbyist, or experimental use only.
We are not responsible for any damage, injury, loss, or unintended consequences resulting from the use, misuse, or failure of any products sold or referenced on this site.

2. Use At Your Own Risk

By using this site or purchasing any product, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Products may not be certified, safety-tested, or compliant with consumer regulations.
  • You are solely responsible for ensuring suitability and safe usage.
  • Any modification or integration into other systems is at your own discretion and risk.

3. No Warranties

All products are provided “as-is”, without warranties of any kind—express or implied—including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
Kaizen Labs makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information or materials on this site.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kaizen Labs and its affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use any product or service. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of data, or personal injury.

5. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dublin, Ireland.

6. Changes to Terms

Kaizen Labs may update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Return & Exchange Policy (USA Only)

Scope: Applies only to U.S. orders (50 states + D.C.). We do not accept returns from outside the United States.

Window: You must contact us within 30 days of delivery.

What’s covered: Defective or damaged items only (including DOA).

What’s not covered: Change-of-mind/buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchase, normal wear and tear, misuse/abuse, missing parts, modifications, or items integrated into other systems.

Resolution priority:

  1. Exchange for the same (or functionally equivalent) item.
  2. If exchange isn’t possible, refund to the original payment method.

Return shipping costs:

  • If we confirm a defect, we issue a prepaid return label.
  • If no defect is found, return shipping is your responsibility and the return may be denied.

How to Start a Return/Exchange

Email [email protected] within 30 days of delivery with:

  1. Order number
  2. Item name/SKU and serial (if applicable)
  3. Description of the defect/damage
  4. Clear photos/video showing the issue and overall condition

We’ll reply with an RMA number and instructions. Do not ship anything back without an RMA.

Return Requirements

  • Include all original parts, accessories, and packaging.
  • Pack securely; damage from poor packing may void the return.
  • Remove any personal data from devices before returning.
  • Ship by the date specified in your RMA instructions (typically within 14 days).

Inspection & Outcome

  • We typically inspect items within 3–5 business days of receipt.
  • Defective/damaged: we send an exchange or issue a refund.
  • No defect found: we return the item to you; you may be charged shipping.

Limitations

  • Consumables and custom/special-order items are not returnable unless DOA.
  • This policy does not extend or replace any manufacturer warranty.

Shipping Damage (DOA)

If your order arrives damaged, email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery with photos of the outer packaging, shipping label, inner packing, and the item. Keep all packing materials.
